Boats - Canadian indie rock that been getting a lot of attention as of late.

Cake - I've always loved Cake and I think I always will, so take this recommendation with a grain of salt.

Cavelera Conspiracy - Hardcore legend Max Cavelera teams up with his brother for the heaviest addition to the studio this week.

David Francey - Really got turned around by this artist, wasn't that into it at first but quickly grew to appreciate this folk release.

Kellarissa - New wave, indie, electro from this Vancouver based musician who spends a lot of her time backing up P:ano and Destroyer.

This City Defects - Thrashy experimental rock music from this Calgary 3-piece. Widdled down from a the 5 piece they were on their last release, this band sounds better now than ever. They play the Phog this coming Monday.

Timber Timbre - Montreal based act has been getting a ton of attention recently (currently on the cover of Exclaim) with a unique folk alternative sound.

Some Reviews For Yous:

Ann Southam: A Reissue of a seminal recording by one of Canada's foremost female composers who passed on in November of 2010.

Agnes Obel: German folk indie songstress has been getting a lot of positive reviews with this latest full length.

C'Mon: Some straight up rock and roll form this great Canadian act. Hopefully this release means they'll be touring through Windsor again soon, they are a fantastic live band.

Daniel Romano: Second solo release form Attack In Black frontman/guitarist/singer.

DSTRUCT.O: Some of the best and ONLY dubstep being produced in the city of Windsor. Support!

Birdapres: Tons of great Canadian hip hop talent represented on this disc.

My Son The Hurricane: This act made a huge impression when they played The Loop last fall. Imagine a New Orleans big brass/funk band fronted by a distinctly Canadian MC and this is what you get.

The Riderless: One of London, Ontario's best offering in my opinion. Gorgeous instrumental atmospheric post rock, should be a hit with fans of Windsor's What Seas What Shores.

See YOU at the Jammys!

Is/Is - This NYC female rock trio is a shear delight! Good pick for Women's day next Tuesday.
